Trust-Based Relational Intervention 3-Day Workshop (1)

Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is founded on evidence-based research that is designed for those who love and serve children from hard places. TBRI provides parents, caregivers, and professionals with insights and practical strategies that help children who have been exposed to adverse experiences such as difficult pregnancy, difficult birth, early/multiple hospitalizations, abuse, neglect, and other traumatic experiences including chaotic environment, divorce, separation, and more. 

Participants will be introduced to three TBRI principles, Connection, Empowerment, and Correction principles that impact the brain, biology, body, beliefs, and behaviors of children. Participants will also learn proactive and responsive strategies that prevent dysregulation and provide tools that help caregivers remain connected during correcting behaviors at home and at school. 

Who is this course for? Parents/Caregivers, Teachers, Counselors, Clinicians, Group Homes Yorkers, Youth Leaders, anyone who loves and serves children!

We work with organizations that are seeking to reduce aggression, holds, suspensions, and maladaptive behaviors in children. If professional development and technical assistance is a goal, we will work with you in devising a plan that includes retention of caregivers and professionals, improve competencies in trauma-informed care, and more!
