Using information about the child’s history of adversity, the child’s current relational support and development of 32 areas of the brain, the Brain Map provides a snapshot of the child’s current brain-based functioning, their relational health, and their cortical modulation ration (CMR). The CMR provides an approximation of the child’s developmental age. The 4 areas of the brain scored are sensory integration, self-regulation, relational functioning, and cognition. This information, taken together provides real time information to parents, caregivers and professionals regarding caregiving, learning, social-emotional health. Most importantly, services are prescribed to fit the child’s needs.
